At WebCom we are experience in all phases of the planning and designing network infrastructures. We first start with a site survey of the client's existing network infrastructure to determine number of users, what type of users they have, and how voice and data services flow from service providers to servers. Next, we inventory all equipment in client's server room, phone room, and any other equipment that may share the network connections. Finally, we interview our client's to find out how they using the network today and in the future.
Once we have gathered all of the necessary information from our site survey and evaluating existing infrastructure, we than engineer customized solution. This consists of statement of work that includes server room layout in Vizio / CAD, and a full materials list that was tailored to the specific office, building, and or campus.
Every install starts with a kick off meeting between the client, sales engineer, and our lead technician. In this meeting we review scope of work, blue prints, and project timeline. Next, we review the three phases every install.
This consist of: Phase one rough in, phase two server room build, and phase three testing is certifying the network infrastructure with our Fluke DTX-1800 tester.
WebCom has many years of experience in managing contractor, service providers, riser companies, and materials for a single offices as well as multi-office roll outs. We do this through the United States through our network of contractors and suppliers that we partner with. In addition, WebCom can procure and deploy network hardware, software, and wireless equipment as well.
